This application is part of a Transnational project - European Island Farm Landscapes. Ayrshire & Arran FWAG will run a stand-alone project withinEIFL which will focus on farmers on Arran & Cumbrae. Working alongside Taste of Arran, the project will link enterprising farmers, crofters and landowners in a forum that gives them the co-operative strength to advance their businesses and products into developing markets. By raising the profile of the Islands, the project will strengthen the whole community. The main reason for this project is to empower each island’s community to operate in a wider marketplace, giving them confidence to promote quality products, produced on a sustainable landscape. Linking farmers, tourism and the landscape is core to this project.
