The project aims to modify the river below the main road bridge in Kinlochleven to divert more water through an existing channel on the river to create an improved feature for white water kayaking and improve the access to the site for canoes, kayaks and rafts. Prior to the actual construction of this feature, a study has to be carried out, using a hydraulic model and flood risk assessment for the playwave development. This funding application relates to the study, which has been highlighted as necessary in order for the project to progress to the next stage.
