This proposal was for an inaugural networking event in the National Park area for business and other enterprising women to coincide with International Womens Day. The proposal had been developed by a small group of women from across the Park area, supported by NPA staff.
The event would bring together local women’s networks and also attract other enterprising women (involved in business, community, culture and the environment). It may inspire and support other groups to form networks where these do not exist. It will be a forum in which to share experience and knowledge, to hear from inspiring women entrepreneurs, and to debate barriers and opportunities for women in the National Park.
